Dentist warm up

It was suggested to me to bring Hadley with me when I go to the dentist so she can see what happens when you get your teeth cleaned. So today that's what we did. 

Hadley got to use a mirror to look in my mouth. She counted my teeth. The top she counted in English. The bottom she counted in Spanish. She watched as my teeth were scraped, cleaned, and flossed. Then we were done and she picked out new tooth brushed for both of us...a princess toothbrush for her and a blue toothbrush for me because that's my favorite color. Then she tested out the chair. 

Fingers crossed things go this smoothly when it's her turn to get her teeth cleaned.

Quiz

It's been a while since I've posted a video. Last night Hadley and I were picking up a treat for her dad at Sonic since he's been working really hard on finishing our new house. While we were waiting Hadley decided to give me a quiz. Usually, I'm not a fan of quizzes but this one I seemed to pass with flying colors.  My favorite was how she would tell me "good job Mommy" when I'd respond correctly. 

Some other things that we did this weekend were...

Some things I've neglected to mention

Here's the last ultrasound picture which was several weeks ago.

It's probably going to be quite the adjustment for Hadley but, I'm keeping my fingers crossed she takes it all in stride.

She already made one adjustment pretty seamlessly.  She moved herself into our guest room into a big bed all on her own a couple of months ago and she hasn't looked back!

Here's a picture of her sleeping in this morning. Some mornings she wakes up at 6:00. Some mornings she wakes up at 8:15. You never know with her.

We also have another huge adjustment coming up very soon...moving into our new house which is nearing completion. At this point it's a race to finish and I'm not sure who's going to win...the baby or the house.
