Tea for four

Hadley, Mimi, Aunt Lulu and I went to the tearoom on Saturday. Hadley has been several times before.  She's usually pretty good and Saturday was no different. We did have to call it quits a little early and head outside to walk around.

It was a long time to ask her to sit still but she did pretty good.

She decided that since the weather was so nice, she'd just rather sit outside.

We had a big day on Sunday too! Hadley used the potty twice! Now, we are by no means well on our way to potty trained...but, it's a start.  And one that I hope doesn't stop!

So maybe I wasn't rushing it

Today, Hadley and I went on a walk which was much more successful than our walk on Thursday. She pretty much stayed on the sidewalk and didn't sit down for any snack breaks. Mission accomplished!

Afternoon walk/sit

Yesterday afternoon was chilly but the sun was shining so Hadley didn't want to come inside.  So, I decided to see if she was able to take a little walk with me down our street. Well, I may have set my sights a little high.

We started out strong. Then, once we got in front of the neighbor's house, she decided that she wanted to sit down.

And while she was sitting, she might as well snack on a Cheerio or two.

She stood up, walked a little and then sat back down over and over and over again.

So, the lesson learned was that if I really want to go for a walk, we still require a stroller.

But that's ok. We still had fun in the sun!

Wild and Crazy

Last night Hadley was wild and very, very loud. Like, for no good reason that we could figure out. Aside from trying to get her to stop yelling, we just went with it...and documented it. :)

We tried to distract her by doing some Facetime.

Then we just played in her room.

Then she changed into her pajamas (yes, Christmas pajamas because they still fit) and played with a xylophone.

But she wasn't interested in playing the xylophone the way it was meant to be played.

She removed every piece of it, one by one, and played with it that way. Then she took her xylophone party to the hallway.

And continued to have a great time.

Then it was bedtime...for all of us!

Adjusting

Hadley's taking her sweet time adjusting to this time change. But that's fine with me because I am too! Here are a couple of pictures from her most recent bath.

Outside fun

We played hookie from church on Sunday and enjoyed a lot of time outside on a very beautiful day.
