Class trip to the zoo

Hadley's class took a field trip to the Cincinnati Zoo and, lucky for Case, siblings were welcomed to tag along.

Train ride! Case was in heaven!

Trying to catch a butterfly!

Hadley walked more this day than she ever had before. She dragged herself to the car.

Although it was overcast and gloomy, the rain held off and it was a great day!

School Bus!

Some days you wake up on the right side of the bed and good things just happen to you. This was one of those days for Hadley and Case.

We stumbled upon a private tour of a school bus and the kids could not have been more thrilled!

Their day was made!

Dance recital week

You guys, dance recital week is no joke. Thank god I had lots of help.

This was Hadley's second year to perform 2 nights in the recital.

She was pretty excited about it!

Her dance routine was called Welcome to the Tropics.

This was how they passed the time while waiting backstage for their turn.

She did great both performances and we were very proud of her.

She had several spectators, both family and friends, who came to support her. She's only lucky girl.

She was exhausted after each show and she wasn't the only one.

The home stretch

We were in the home stretch before summer break but the next couple of weeks were very busy!

Mother's Day Weekend

The weekend started off strong.

We made a very efficient trip to Lowes for some homemade Mother's Day gift supplies.

We came home and got down to business.

While we let our masterpieces dry, Hadley "assisted" in putting Case down for a nap.

She was also instrumental in getting him up from his nap.

We filled our hand painted pots with flowers and posed for some pictures.

This was around the time that Case became obsessed with mowing grass. "Dada mow grass" has been a favorite phrase of his for several months now.

On Sunday morning the kids sat in a moment of harmony while eating breakfast before we headed to church.

After church we made some special deliveries that were well received.

We ended the weekend with some selfies.

After the kids went to bed I got started on my Mother's Day present!

When I was a kid we didn't have Lego sets like this so I'm reliving my childhood and loving it! I even let my family help me build some of it...because I'm nice. A family that Legos together stays together. 😊
