Church

Some of us take longer to get ready for church than others...

Once we finally got there (and early, I might add) Hadley decided that she didn't want to stay in the nursery and thus I took a deep breath. 

Meanwhile...

Case was doing his best to make his second visit to church more pleasant than his first...which wouldn't take much! 

We made it out alive and we didn't totally disrupt the service sooooo I guess you call that a win?

Pudding pops

We made pudding pops the other day. 

We had more quality control workers than we really needed. 

Then the best part...

Case tried to talk her into sharing. 

Then he tried to see if Cane would get him a popsicle. 

He was out of luck but still smiling. 

Story hour

I was able to go to story hour with Hadley yesterday and I picked a great one to go to because we made ice cream! 

It started off with a story about Curious George. 

Usually more kids attend but we had a last minute change of venue so we might have lost some people. In any event, it worked out well considering the activity. 

Even Case came along for the ride. 

And here's Hadley shaking up her bag of soon to be ice cream. 

And 30 seconds later (if that) she was done shaking the bag. So, I stepped in. I mean, it's ice cream we're talking about so I was willing to help out. After a few minutes of shaking, I passed the baton to Mimi to bring it on home. And that she did! 

And Hadley was pleased with the results as were the rest of us. 

Once we finished the ice cream, we wandered around the grounds. 

By that time baby brother was hungry so it was time to get going!
