Hadley made her first trip to the dentist last week. She walked in the office with confidence!
And sat down in a chair to wait her turn.
That is until she spotted the toys.
She played for a bit and walked towards the front desk just to make sure they hadn't forgotten about her.
Which, of course, they had not. She followed Pricy back to the exam room.
She was just a little apprehensive about getting into the chair until...
...she saw the toys. Then all was right with the world.
She got to pick out a new toothbrush!
And Pricy handed her a mirror so she could watch what was going on.
Then it was time to clean her teeth. Hadley "helped" put toothpaste on the cleaning instrument and...
...she also "helped" clean her teeth.
Then she decided to let the professional do her job.
She didn't quite master the water/suction part of the cleaning (she swallowed all the water) but, it wasn't terrible.
She was so proud of herself!
Then Dentist Mandy came in to count teeth and take a look.
She decided Hadley's teeth looked great!
So, we topped off the visit with a toy!
