Preschool

Hadley started half day Montissori preschool this past fall. We went to a preschool meeting where she got to see her new school, meet her teacher and checkout her room and get comfortable. Things went great. 

We went back one other time before school started to let her have some more time getting used to the place. 

Then, shit got real. 

First day of school. Still smiling at the home. 

Getting good luck vibes from her baby brother. 

Getting pretty anxious putting her snack bag away.

Finding a familiar face. 

It took a good two weeks for Hadley to adjust and not cry at drop off. Her teacher Mrs. Tiffany pried her from my legs more than once during that two weeks but her anxiety waned and now she's a pro. We share a quick kiss and off she goes into her classroom. Her favorite uniform to wear is this jumper. She refuses to change into anything else after school. 

She's learning so much and she surprises us each day with something new. My favorite so far has been her song to remember the 7 continents - 🎶Asia, Africa, North and South America, Antarctica, Australia, and Europe too!🎶
