Happy Birthday!

Happy 1st Birthday Hadley!

 

August is a special month for our family. We have 2 birthdays and an anniversary in the month of August. Hadley's birthday is just one day after her dad's!

So, I hope to take lots of pictures of the two of them together for years to come...something like this:

Hadley went up to receive a birthday blessing in church this past Sunday.

We sit near the back of the church so we can make a quick get-away if necessary.  So, it was quite a hike up to the front of the church.  It took a little coaxing but she finally made it. 

We went to get our birthday girl out of bed this morning...and it went something like this:

Then she was served breakfast in bed on her special day!

Hadley wore her birthday suit this morning...pretty fitting!

And for those of you that have been following along with her rat tail...it's been a while since I've updated you on it.  So, here it is!

Impressive, I know!

It's pretty hard to believe that a year ago right now, we were preparing to met her.

And our family was born!

Then they just kick you out of the hospital and send you home...with a brand new baby...and our goal, simply put, was for everyone to stay alive!

So far, so good!

We've really enjoyed getting to know Hadley and her big personality over this past year and we're so excited for what lies ahead!

And Hadley's excited too!
