Just a Normal Evening

Last night we went out to dinner with Hadley.  Believe it or not, it's was pleasant.

I mean, we don't take a 1 year old to dinner with the intention of having a nice, relaxing time.  We go with the intention of having a nice but relatively quick dinner...where someone else prepares the meal and cleans up afterwards!

So, we went for Mexican.  As you can imagine, Hadley thinks as soon as she sits down at the table, she should be fed.  So, we give her some snacks while we wait for the good stuff. Once our meals arrive, we have to make quick work to fill her plate with food.  And again, as you can imagine (sorry no pictures or videos of this part...yet) she shovels it in just about as fast as we put it on her plate.  I'm grateful for this.  It's much easier than trying to beg her to eat.

After our enjoyable dinner, we drove home while she talked, sang, and entertained us the whole way.

Then we played, changed into her pajamas, and went for a walk before bed.

It was a nice night all around.

And I told you how much she loves her baby doll.  Here's another video.
