The countdown is on

We're on a countdown to Hadley's 2nd birthday. On Sunday we went to church where Hadley received a birthday blessing!

After church, she enjoyed a donut and then wanted to wash her hands.

Then we hit the playroom before heading home.

On our way home she was rocking out but got camera shy when I started recording...

We changed into play clothes, picked up the dogs and went to Papoo's for a Gator ride. Cane made his way to a little creek and had a ball in it.  He emerged from it needing a bath but...he had such a good time getting so dirty.

Bella was, of course, too much a lady to participate in that fun.

Once Cane got cleaned off with a water hose, Hadley was ready for a snack.

Then we went home to play some more.  This time Bella reluctantly found her way into the action.

But quickly found a spot to lay down and just observe.

Later that afternoon, she was trying to say her whole name and she was so excited that the first couple of attempts are just a jumbled mess.  She pulled it together at the end of the video.

Needless to say, we're excited for her 2nd birthday! Thankfully she's still growing, learning, and changing everyday and it's been a pleasure (most days) to witness. If I'm being honest, the last few months have been my favorite of the 12-24 month growth period! Her imagination is developing and it's really cool to watch. There's not much she misses or forgets which, for the time being, is pretty cute.
