Hadley has be very busy lately...trying to pull up on anything and everything. And of course, once she pulls up (either with help or occasionally on her own) she loves to stand up and walk around with help.
So, you all are well aware that Cane is an original. I mean, nothing he does surprises us anymore. So, here's a video of him playing with a slap bracelet. Why do we have a slap bracelet laying around the house? I realize they were popular back in the late 80's/early 90's but apparently, Josh is trying to bring them back. And Cane is in agreement. He actually played with the bracelet forever...until he destroyed it. If you listen closely, you can hear him whining (and Josh and me laughing).
Cane and Wissel just messing around.
And because I know that some people don't read this blog to get Cane updates...here are a few pictures of Hadley.
Sunday morning came a little too early for me. I was still pretty tired from the long day before. So, Josh kept Hadley while I went to church by myself. Much appreciated and much needed. He got to give her a bath, dress her, feed her breakfast, play with her and then put her down for a nap. I got to go zone out sit and listen without wrestling an 8 month old. Oh yeah...I forgot to mention...my baby is 8 MONTHS OLD! I'll do another post about that...stay tuned.
After Hadley woke up from her morning nap, we went to Lexington to visit with Aunt Lucy. We went to the Farmer's Market and picked up a few things.
Then Lucy suggested that we take a walk down to Gratz Park, spread out a blanket and relax. I gotta be honest. This sounded just a little too nicey nice to be do-able, you know? I was prepared for Hadley to change our plans at any moment. But, much to my surprise and delight, she was totally on board with the plan! The girl that's been NON STOP actually chilled out and relaxed with us. Such a pleasant afternoon.
She examined the grass...and yes, tried to eat it.
She played with some of her favorite toys.
Practiced crawling/moving/scooting around
She had an afternoon snack while gazing up at the trees. Very content!
