In other (random) news:
I stumbled across this company called Citrus Lane.
The idea is that you buy a subscription (various monthly options are available) and your child gets monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly boxes delivered to your door full of age, gender, and season appropriate toys, books, personal care items. I'm considering doing it for Hadley as a birthday present. It's a way to spread out the birthday joy for months.  Plus it's fun to get new stuff in the mail just out of the blue. Anyway, if you're interested in trying it out too, use this link and we'll both save $10.  Or don't.  You're not going to hurt my feelings! :)

Shades

The sun was shining today. So, what's a girl to do but put on her new shades.

Slowly waking up

These are pictures from Hadley's video monitor this morning. They show the long process of waking up a bear, a Hadley Bear. Stretching, rolling, lounging, and maybe even dozing off again. It's all part of the process.

Not an easy task

Photographing Hadley has not been easy lately.

Every time I try, she asks to watch videos of herself on my phone.

This is her asking to see videos of "Ha-bul" as she calls herself.

If I don't comply, which sometimes I don't, she has a meltdown with tears and everything.

She loves to watch herself in videos and will sit for 15-20 minutes at a time enjoying them over and over and over again.

So, these pictures and video are from this morning. She wanted to put on some shoes but she couldn't decide which ones she wanted.

Whatever floats your boat Ha-bul!

Valentine's Day Loot

Hadley had a great Valentine's season.  I say season because things started trickling in starting the first part of February.  Some cards came with stickers and some cards sang songs. And she even got a cookie delivered to her. All were appreciated.

Then on the actual day, she got more cards, 3 new books, a new stuffed animal, and more cookies! She's a lucky girl!

Here she is with her new Elmo doll.

But what really caught us off guard was that she got her first Valentine's Day card from a BOY...and he wasn't family!  Her good friend Max's parents are teaching that boy the ways of the world.  He sent her a handwritten card (he obviously had some help)!

Hadley and Max are going to hangout on Saturday night. Don't worry, they're going to be chaperoned. Cane will be there.

Happy Valentine's Day to my 18 month old!

Hadley turns 18 months old today.

She is one, sweet Valentine.

Here she is calling her Dada this morning.

She is a very busy lady these days.  Almost always on the go.

But lucky for us, she usually has a sweet smile on her face.

Happy Valentine's Day Hadley.  You are loved!
