Everyday stuff

Hadley's dirty face selfie after a popsicle.

Naturally...a bath followed. This time with bath bombs!

Case and Cane

Hadley enjoying riding her bike.

Case is probably wondering when it is going to be his turn.

One of his favorite things to do is feed the dogs.

Seriously, he'd feed them 10 times a day if he could.

He's pretty good at putting dirty dishes into the sink. On occasion, we'll found trash in the sink and dishes in the trash but hey...that could have been me who did that?

Hadley was making her way to school in the rain. I guess it was show and tell since she's carrying a stuffed animal. I'm positive she was more excited than her face indicates.

Halloween

I decided to kick it old school this Halloween and "make" costumes for all of us! #motheroftheyear

Hadley had strong interest in being a Care Bear so that was definitely something we could work with. I made all the tummy patches, ears, and heart patches for the rear.

Hadley was quite pleased, which was a huge shock to say the least.

The weather was perfect for her sweat suit costume.

Starting from left to right I present to you:
Grumpy Bear, Cheer Bear, Share Bear, and Tenderheart Bear

Hadley had a blast trick-or-treating with her friends.

I better get started on the costumes for next year.

Grocery shopping

I seldom take my kids to the grocery. It just seems to take twice as long and cost a lot more. But every once in a while, I forget my own rule.

Back to reality

Back to the daily grind of school and work but enjoying some fun outside on the gator! Hadley is a dangerous driver even on acres of just grass! We should probably strap on their helmets next time. Seriously...

Disney! Day three

Day 3 started strong. We went back to Magic Kingdom to see some stuff we weren't able to see on the first day.

We went to Belle's Castle for breakfast.

Then we thought we'd stop by and see Winnie the Pooh's place.

However Hadley was adamant that she did not want to ride the Winnie the Pooh ride (it was just like the Ariel ride and the Nemo ride we'd already been on but whatever). As we were wandering around trying to feel her out and figure out what she wanted to do we stumbled upon a show at Cinderella's Castle. Hadley did not mind that we'd already seen this show. So we watched it again.

Then had a frozen chocolate covered banana.

After that, we realized that Hadley was in the mood to meet some of princesses! So, off we went. Princess Tiana was first. She had the best personality and was one of our very favorites! Probably didn't hurt that we were also staying in The Princess Tiana room at our hotel!

We caught the parade again.

Then we found Princess Rapunzel! We had to wait in line for a few minutes but that was fine.

It gave us time to get out our autograph book and have it ready!

Then we found Tinker Bell! Hadley really liked her too!

Of course, after we met Tinker Bell, we had to exit through a gift store. Here's Hadley trying on an Olaf hat which we did not purchase.

Then we met Snow White!

And took in the view!

Then we waited in line to see TWO princesses!! While we waited Hadley admired her Tinker Bell autograph.

Rapunzel was another favorite. She was a lot of fun and acted silly with the kids.

And of course Cinderella!

We weren't able to see Ariel which was on Hadley's list but...there's always next time. We took the bus back to the hotel room to rest and get ready for dinner.

Once we were rested, we took a boat ride to Disney Springs...

...for a delicious dinner on another boat!

Hadley polished off her dad's bowl of clam chowder.

Then ate shrimp and veggies...

...while I went elbow deep in crab legs!

She played with that light up Tinker Bell we'd gotten the night before for about 20-30 minutes which allowed us to enjoy this...

...and this...

...and this!

Hadley decided she needed another make your own sundae.

Once we were sufficiently stuffed, we walked it off to the Lego store!!

After we bought a memento from the Lego store, we headed back to the hotel room by bus because it had gotten a little too cool for a boat ride.

The next morning we woke up, packed up, grabbed some breakfast, and went to wait for the bus.

Hadley passed the time of our short wait by trying to learn how to hula hoop.

The bus took us back to the airport...

...where Hadley boarded the plane like a pro.

Her favorite part about the flight was the pretzels and cookies. Can't say that I blame her there.

We made it home with no trouble and couldn't wait to go get our boy and give him his new Mickey Mouse!

It was a great trip with lots of fun memories made...and we all slept great that night!

Until next time Disney!
