With a busy morning on Saturday, we reserved the afternoon for playing and "working" in the yard and of course the all important nap!
Hadley enjoyed lots of trips down and up her slide.
The dogs enjoyed their time in the sun.
Hadley felt like she should check in on Cane and make sure he was enjoying his nap. Poor guy.
After play time, there was "work" to be done. Hadley was very excited when she realized the work was watering our flowers and plants.
She was very thorough.
But, as it always happens, Hadley ended up in the water. It started with her hands.
Then one foot...
...and the other.
Before she showered herself from head to toe, I managed to coax her inside. I did have to change her clothes because Hadley doesn't get near water without requiring a wardrobe change. Then it was nap time, in which everyone but Hadley was ready to partake. Instead, she was ready to play with her doll. Thankfully she didn't put up a fight.
