So we've been a little busy

This party got started early in the morning on Thursday. And by early, I mean 1:00 AM. We made it to the hospital around 4:00 AM. And here's one of the last pictures of me pregnant (I probably shouldn't have gone with the stripes but it was early and the shirt was clean). 

So, we did the labor thing all morning and into early afternoon then it was show time and a few minutes later out came a BOY!  Walter Case Lovell weighing 8 lbs and 1 oz and 21 inches long. 

I would have been surprised either way but I'm sailing in uncharted boy territory here so I was probably a little more surprised than had they said, "it's a girl."

We spent some time getting acquainted.

Meanwhile, big sister was hanging with her grandparents living it up. 

We changed the first poopy diaper early Friday morning. 

And it felt like we got about a total of 2 hours of sleep that night. 

But, that's ok. 

Then Friday morning Hadley came to meet her baby brother. 

She was very eager to hold him and even more excited to open some presents for him. 

Then we had a peaceful afternoon. 

The next day we were so ready to head home. 

And we made it home without anyone crying! 

Then Hadley came home and wasted no time holding her baby brother. 

And we've been taking it one day at a time since. Case is a great baby. Eating well and sleeping like a newborn...2 hours at a time! And we couldn't be happier!
