Here's a video from last night.  Hadley was busy playing with her shoes but she made time to comply with my request "to cheese."

And here she is multitasking.  She's having a cup of tea (water) and riding her ladybug toy.

Hadley is very interested in shoes these days.

She is able to pick out a matching pair but...

...she's not always into the traditional look.

She just grabs what looks fun and goes with it. 

Socks and sandals, sure why not?

1 YEAR ? ! ? !

I forgot to mention earlier that I've been "successfully" blogging for an entire year! I have to admit, I'm probably more surprised by that than any of you reading this...all 3 of you!  

I haven't been keeping a proper baby book for Hadley (don't worry...my mom has) and I've felt a little bad about that. But, since this blog is mostly about Hadley, I guess I'm using it as a non-traditional baby book. I'm actually making a printed, bound book out of this first year of the blog. I've found a program that does it and I've started the process but, it's a little time consuming. I'll let you know how it works out.

Doctor visit

We had Hadley's 18 month checkup today. The good news: she's perfectly healthy and developmentally on target. The bad news: she does not like doctors, nurses, or shots. But we left the place smiling and hopefully we don't have to go back until she's 2 years old.
