Beach trip

Our annual beach trip got off to a
good start. We stopped off at Cumberland Gap National Park for a picnic.

Hadley took some time to pick flowers.

And Case soaked up some love...

...and stretched his legs a bit.

We took a group photo and got on our way.

Hadley was the perfect traveler!

And then this happened...for about 2 hours.

Luckily Case was a champ through that mess.

Once we finally got to the hotel, we realized we had a handicap accessible room which meant, no bathtub! Luckily Case could still (barely) "fit" in the kitchen sink and Hadley got to take a shower (she still much prefers a bath).

Getting ready for bed.

Hadley tucked Lulu into bed and wasn't far behind her going to sleep. Case, on the other hand, followed in his big sister's foot steps when she was younger - go to sleep initially but then wake up multiple times throughout the night and refuse to sleep in the crib but rather on/near me. Luckily, we get 2 rooms so the disruption is not widespread but still...not ideal.

The next morning we had breakfast.

Packed up and headed out.

We stopped at our favorite spot in Bluffton, SC and had a delicious lunch!

Once our bellies were full, we were back in the vehicle for just a few more minutes. Then we truly began our vacation!
