Hadley usually likes to go to sleep, whether it's for a nap or for the night. Unless she's a little overtired. If that's the case, then she'll cry for a minute or two before going to sleep.
She doesn't always go right to sleep though. Sometimes there's a good 10-15 minutes of play before she's ready to call it a night. And we don't go and get her as soon as she wakes up. We let her hang out in the crib for 10-20 minutes as long as she's happy.
Since we have a video monitor, we frequently look in on her during this "awake but in her crib" time. Here are some examples of what we see.
